AACE was founded by Dr. Tommy Li, who built his career and life in the UK — giving him first-hand understanding of the pressures and choices students face in the British education system.

Included within every admissions programme, and also available as a fully standalone service — a wider team of Russell Group graduates and current medical students covers A-Level, GCSE and IB tutoring across maths, physics, chemistry and biology, plus languages and Chinese.
Every student is paired with a top Russell Group tutor for precise one-to-one training, with the AACE founders' team personally acting as Progress Supervisor (學業進修監督人) — safeguarding learning outcomes and progress at every stage, for a standard of academic oversight that cannot be matched.

A Story That Began With a Conversation
Dr. Tommy Li and the team met in the UK, where everyone built their careers and lives, and personally walked the path through the British education system — giving them first-hand understanding of the pressures, choices and challenges students face.
Before founding AACE, Tommy spent years helping students refine personal statements and understand what medical schools truly value — drawing on his own journey from growing up in Hong Kong, to studying GCSEs and A-Levels in Bath, to completing his medical degree in the UK. During clinical training he rotated through medical and surgical specialties and took part in undergraduate teaching, simulation and bedside teaching, small-group clinical skills training and MMI assessment.
AACE was founded on the belief that good education shouldn't feel like paperwork. Too many agencies reduce it to generic checklists and routine admin — but what students actually need is mentors who take the time to understand their real situation, and who are honest with them. We are not just a tutoring company, but a long-term partner in a student's growth, combining international perspective, real industry experience and genuine empathy from GCSE and A-Level through to university application.
